Bayside Police pursuit ends in Glendale

A pursuit was initiated by Bayside Police near North Port Washington Road and West Brown Deer Road on Tuesday, December 8th.

“The vehicle had no license plates and went through a red light and made an illegal U-turn when the traffic stop was initiated,” said to Bayside Police Lieutenant Cory Fuller. The vehicle, which was stolen from Waukesha County, fled from police and was pursued.  The Glendale Police Department deployed stop sticks on North Port Washington Road and West Good Hope Road which resulted in several flat tires.

The pursuit ended shortly after on Port Washington Road and West Brentwood Lane in Glendale and the driver was taken into custody by police after he ran from the vehicle.  A female passenger was also taken into custody, however, she did not attempt to run from the vehicle according to Lt. Fuller.
